JOHN ASCUAGA'S NUGGET PRESENT THE NITTY GRITTY DIRT BAND
SPARKS/RENO, NEV. - In 1971 The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band was riding high on the success of the album "Uncle Charlie and His Dog Teddy," which included the smash version of the Jerry Jeff Walker son "Mr. Bojangles." Still, the band was seeking to add depth to the authenticity of its pioneering country-rock sound. On March 26-27 the Celebrity Showroom of John Ascuaga's Nugget will be filled with the unmistakable sound of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
