Sparks/Reno, Nev. – John Ascuaga’s Nugget recently completed a $17-million floor-to-ceiling remodel of more than 600 rooms in property’s original East Tower. Gather your neighbors and friends, come over and see the beautiful new rooms on Saturday and Sunday, March 15-16, from Noon to 5 p.m. each day. There is no charge, plus visitors 21 and older can enter each day to win a Nugget “Steppin’ Out and Stayin’ Over” package, consisting of dinner for two in the Rotisserie Buffet, two tickets to any upcoming Nugget show and a one-night stay in the hotel.
The complete interior remodel is “comfortably contemporary and soothingly sophisticated,” featuring modern lines, rich hues, plasma televisions, granite accents, marble flooring, luxury bedding, coffee pots and business-friendly accessories, including wireless high-speed internet access - all designed to compliment the breathtaking views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains and High Desert landscape.
The Open House rooms will be located on the fifth floor in the East Tower. Signs will direct guests. Anyone under 21 must be accompanied.
