EVELYN MOUNT COMMUNITY OUTREACH - Evelyn Mount’s Community Outreach will be accepting cash contributions and/or canned foods to feed the hungry during the holiday season. Their booth will be set up on the corner of 10th & Victorian Avenue.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF TRUCKEE MEADOWS - Club members will serve as Santa’s helpers and accept either $1 or canned foods, which will be donated to Evelyn Mount’s Community Outreach program.

CITADEL BROADCASTING “TREES OF HOPE” TO BENEFIT FRIENDS OF SPECIAL CHILDREN - Magic 95.5, Wild 102.9, News Talk 780 KOH and KBUL 98.1 will be presenting “Trees of Hope” festival in the Victorian Square Amphitheater. 24 Christmas trees, decorated by local businesses, will be on display through the event. The general public will be invited to vote for their favorite tree for a $1 contribution, which in turn will be donated to Friends of Special Children, an organization that provides assistance to families who have children with special needs. The tree that receives the most votes will win the title of “Christmas Tree of the Year” and the business that decorated it will be recognized.

VETERANS UPWARD BOUND PROGRAM - Information regarding programs & classes for Veterans of all ages will be distributed on the corner of 10th & Victorian.

GIRL SCOUTS & BOY SCOUTS - Each will have booths and provide information about their organizations on the corner of 10th & Victorian.

NEVADA HUMANE SOCIETY - Their booth will also be on the corner of 10th & Victorian and information will be available.
