The legendary sideman for Jackson Browne, founder of the ground breaking world music band Kaleidoscope and cult band El Rayo-X, and highly sought after multi-instrumentalist for all the big names in rock will add the ukulele to his assortment of exotic instruments for one night only as part of the 2012 Reno Ukulele Festival. The Quiet American, comprised of Aaron Keim and Neil McCormick of Boulder Acoustic Society, will open the show with musical tales inspired by depression era string bands, old timey gospel, lo-fi garage rock, and the modern indie-folk scene.
